Review:
Today I went to the Snow White & the Huntsman – Cinescape Kuwait. If you’re in Kuwait you already know how bad the censorship is. -.-
So at the beginning of the movie I was totally lost due to the censorship which means I won’t be talking about that part. I’ll just tell you about the directing in general, writing and the actors/actresses.
First the directing, are you may already know Snow White & the Huntsman is Rupert Sanders‘ first movie. Knowing that I didn’t know what to expect from the movie. I was blown away by how well the movie was made. The atmosphere was amazing none the less there were few mistakes in terms of the clothes/scene sequence it was very obvious. Though as the movie went on I understood why such mistake would accrue.
but still Rupert Sanders did a wonderful job with the movie.
Second the writing, I have to say that I’m not a fan of Snow White but watching this movie changed my mind. The story is so well written and I like it better than the original Disney movie. Why do I like the story so much better than the original? Well, that’s because they add a background story to both the Evil Queen and The Huntsman. Also, I like the twist they made in the huntsman story. It’s just so much better than the original.
Third The Cast, The movie Had 3 major Hollywood stars Kristen Stewart, Chris Hemsworth, Charlize Theron.
Kristen Stewart is Snow White for all those people who claimed that Kristen can’t acted… watch the movie. =D
She did an amazing job, it was like she was meant to be snow white.
Chris Hemsworth is the Huntsman he’s awesome. No other man can do the job he’s done.
Charlize Theron is the Evil Queen. I usually dislike villains but she had such power. It felt like she’s a true Queen. She’s just amazing!!
