First impression: Citrus (Saburo Uta)

Fashionable Yuzu imagined the first day at her new school she transferred to after her mother’s remarriage a bit differently; she didn’t know it’d be an ultra-strict and conservative girls’ school. So instead of a sweet high-school romance, she butts heads with the stern student council president Mei – who turns out to be her new step sister. And she has to learn that hate and attraction are often not that far apart.

First Impression:

Citrus began with a strong plot. It’s one of the few yuri manga with a decent plot. I like the direction the manga is headed. It will make you curious, like I seriously can’t wait for the next chapter. Also the manga’s art is amazing, and the characters are awesome. The story is kinda deep to a certain extent. Also that’s gonna sound weird but I’ve never read a yuri manga that had better kissing scenes than this one. I totally recommend the manga even if you’re not a yuri fan you should give it a try. The manga is hot and not by any means gross.

  1. Hey, where do you get the updates on this manga?
And if you have the manga in japanese, could you please give me the link?
    Thank you very much. (:

  2. If you’ve dropped by my castle at any point during the past two years then you know how I feel about this series…overrated. Even after recent events I still haven’t changed my mind. Still, if it gets animated then good for its fans I guess. I’ll cover the anime version but I won’t be hyped. Who knows? With yuri’s popularity slowly growing an anime version is possible at some point.

    1. I hope it gets an anime actually, I don’t disagree with you about it being overrated. but the thing about it is Saburo Uta’s art is breath taking and deferentially knows how to keep you want to see more. I mean that’s why its overly popular.
