The Hanzo Academy is not just a regular school. It holds a top secret class for ninja training reserved just for the elite. Only two girls made the cut this year, Ikaruga, a quiet but gifted brunette, and Katsuragi, a passionate and skilled blonde. Their personalities could not be more polar opposite and sparks fly even on the first day of class. Ikaruga, being a little bit ahead of the curve, outscores Katsuragi on every assignment. Review:

Senran Kagura Spark! is part on the Senran Kagura Series. Its the second manga released from that series. The first manga that was released of the Senran Kagura series was titled Skirting Shadows. Senran Kagura Spark‘s events take place before the events in Skirting Shadows. The manga is about Hanzo Academy first Students Katsuragi and Ikaruga. In the manga they reveal their background story and also it mainly talk about how they became friends. The manga is very shounen in terms of the story and its values. I mean there were lots of actions and fights in the manga. There were also some valuable lessons. I really enjoyed reading this manga. Its one of the best Senran Kagura experiences… Cause in a way it shows that the series is not only about fanservice.
