Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced a remake of the PSP game God Eater Burst which will be titled God Eater Resurrection for both Playstation 4 and PlayStation Vita. The game will be released in Japanese on October 29th, 2015.

The game also has new and improved features:

• New ‘Predator Style’ combat added, allows players to devour enemies while in the air as well as while dashing.
• The Aragami ‘Dyaus Pita’ has been given a makeover with a dash of extra villainy.
• The same six sword blade categories from God Eater 2: Rage Burst are present in the game (Short Blade, Long Blade, Burst Hammer, Buster Blade, Charge Spear, and Variant Size).
• Transformation attacks also return. After a sword-shape attack, your weapon can convert to its gun shape.
• There is an extended story that leads into God Eater 2.

Physical copies of God Eater Resurrection details:

The First Print Copies of God Eater Resurrection will include
– The “Another Character: Lindow” DLC, which is a version of Lindow who possesses a charge spear. (For either PS4 & PSVita)

Cross-Play Pack includes
– A physical copy of the PlayStation 4 versions of the game
– A DLC of the PS Vita versions of the game
– A God Eater anime Blu-ray Disc Vol.1.

Additionally, a spin-off application of God Eater Resurrection titled God Eater Off Shoot will be included in Volumes 2-7 of the God Eater TV anime Blu-ray releases. The app lets you take pictures of God Eater‘s male and female characters.
