Movie Review: Minions

Evolving from single-celled yellow organisms at the dawn of time, Minions live to serve, but find themselves working for a continual series of unsuccessful masters, from T. Rex to Napoleon. Without a master to grovel for, the Minions fall into a deep depression. But one minion, Kevin, has a plan; accompanied by his pals Stuart and Bob, Kevin sets forth to find a new evil boss for his brethren to follow. Their search leads them to Scarlet Overkill, the world’s first-ever super-villainess.

The minions movie did not disappoint. It was very funny. It was cute. I was surprised to hear Sandra Bullock‘s voice. I was also happy that shes a cast member. Did I mention that the movie was funny?

The best thing about the movie was the character bob. He’s adorable and dense. I believe the movie wouldn’t have been as funny without that character. The villains were crazy fun specially scarlet overkill. The downside to the movie for me was the joke about bob being able to remove Excalibur from the stone… I didn’t like that joke… it was too much. Other than that the movie was pretty funny and very enjoyable. I highly recommend it.
