Anime Review: Joukamachi no Dandelion

The Sakurada family is a pretty ordinary family of eleven people living in a solitary house. Except that their father is the king, and each of the children has special powers. Also, to ensure their safety and to help citizens decide the next king, the town is observed by more than 200 security cameras. (Source: Wikipedia)

Joukamachi-no Dandelion

Joukamachi no Dandelion is the first anime that I’ve seen about siblings in a while. Specially that the anime as about 9 siblings, most anime have 2-5 siblings tops. So the anime is about a Royal family where once of the 9 siblings become King. Since they need the city votes each one is trying to increase his/her popularity among the people. The anime is mostly slice of life/comedy. The anime is pretty funny, it cracked me up a few time. The art is pretty good and the cutest character is pretty cute specially the middle child Akane. The anime had really good character development… there was a little bit of serious drama there as well. The anime had a decent ending but I don’t mind another season. To be honest this was the only anime that I kept anticipating during summer 2015 season. I really enjoy this type of anime, and I believe anyone can enjoy it no matter what their preferable genre is.
