Summary:
In the town of Nagarekawa, Nanako Usami, an ordinary high school girl, is approached by her uncle to become a local idol or “Locodol,” partnering with upperclassman Yukari Kohinata to form the idol unit, Nagarekawa Girls. As the girls use their talent to promote Nagarekawa and their businesses, they are joined by Yui Mikoze, who acts as the local mascot, and Mirai Nazukari, who serves as Yui’s substitute. Review:
LocoDol is one of the best moe anime I’ve came across. Its about two girls and their path to becoming local idols. Its about the challenges they face and how they overcome them as well as adapting with new experiences. The anime is a comedy and its quite funny. It has these casual jokes style not in your face jokes. Its very delightful to watch. I honestly didn’t find anything wrong with the anime. The OVA were quite amazing as well. Oh the anime is more about the town itself than the girls. That was the interesting part for me. Overall it was a good anime. I recommend you check it out.
