Review:

Gundam unicorn is the first and only mobile suit that I loved before watching an anime about it. Since I liked the mobile suit so much I decided to watch the anime. So when I did watch the anime the first thing that I’ve noticed was the main character. He reminded me so much of Shinji from Evangelion. Thus I didn’d approve of him piloting the unicorn.

I liked how Unicorn was related to the first Gundam series. It finally felt like one big story. If you watch any Gundam series you will realize that you don’t have to watch the original or they are not exactly related but this one was and that’s an aspect that I liked about. I really enjoyed the fighting scenes. The overall story was good. The main character was annoying as I mentioned before but I found Mineva Lao Zabi to be interesting. She was so badass, I didn’t think I would like her at first. I really liked the Zeons in this series too.

The best thing about this anime is the music that came with it. The music is composed by nZk. It’s one of the best soundtracks I’ve ever come across. I think that this anime is worth watching if not for the story or the amazing fights then for the music.

Overall Rate: 8/10
