Eight years after the events of Macross F, a mysterious phenomenon known as the Var Syndrome is gradually consuming the galaxy. It’s up to a new generation of highly capable Valkyrie pilots to deal with this universal menace. And if they didn’t have enough on their plate already, the Aerial Knights Valkyrie fighter team from the Kingdom of Wind have come to challenge the Delta Squadron.

Macross delta is the 7th installment of the macross series. Its the sequel of Macross Frontier. The story revolves around 3 main characters Freyja, Hayate and Mirage. Freyja is a singer who wants to join an idol band. Hayate and Mirage are Macross pilots. The story was intense. There was a lot going on with all the characters. Unlike Macross Frontier the focus isn’t just the main character. Not to mention the character development was amazing specially with Mikumo.

The music in the anime was superb. I enjoyed every single song and every single soundtrack. The animation was pretty great as well. Satelight did a great job as always. I’m really happy with the anime. I really enjoyed it. I think everyone can enjoy it as well

Overall Rate: 7.5/10
