Summary:

Review:
I first knew about this anime from manga. It had similar art style to Citrus manga and it was a shoujo ai. The anime adaptation of the manga was a 9min episode. and it was exactly like the chapters of each manga. each episode was a chapter. So the anime is about two childhood best friends that reach their young-adult hood and discover that they are sexually attracted to each other. Unlike other shoujo ai this one focuses on the sexual attraction. Both girls just started dating guys but they choose to experiment with each other… I guess. At first Hotaru makes moves on Yuma, You will get the sense that Hotaru is in love with Yuma. Yuma realizes her feelings for Hotaru then. The thing is the story theme is adultery. Yuma’s boyfriend is a very sweet guy and he loves her but she cant seem to love him back because of the feelings she developed for Hotaru. as the story developed I got a sense that it isn’t really about adultery. It’s more about the two characters discovering their sexuality and for whatever reason the writer wanted to show that some people have an ugly dark side that you will see if you were to see the anime. All in all, I had mixed feelings about the anime I liked the fact that it was true to the manga. I thought the the voice acting cast was perfect for the characters and I really liked the animation. However, I don’t think that this story is for everyone and I believe that every person that would watch it would have a different interpretation about whats going on between the two main characters of the anime.
