Summary:
During the summer of her freshman year of high school, Yuzu Aihara’s mother remarried, forcing her to transfer to a new school. To a fashionable socialite like Yuzu, this inconvenient event is just another opportunity to make new friends, fall in love, and finally experience a first kiss. Unfortunately, Yuzu’s dreams and style do not conform with her new ultrastrict, all-girls school, filled with obedient shut-ins and overachieving grade-skippers. Review:
Citrus is the most popular yuri manga today. Its popularity landed it a TV series. The story about step sisters that fell in love. I guess part of the manga popularity is that that line between incest and normal romance. They are step sisters but not blood sisters. Another reason with this anime fascination might be because it had a happy ending. Not alot of yuri romances have that.
What I liked about the anime is the animation and music. Voice acting was great as well. I was happy to see that the anime did cover revealing all the side characters. What I didn’t like about the anime is that its very predictable… then again I did read the manga so… but over all It was a good show.
