Review:

So back in January DC annouced this big DC universe reset or change (if you wanna call it) which is called Future State. Out of all the Future State titles the only one that struck my attention eas Immortal Wonder Woman mainly because out of all the Future State titles its the only one about an old superhero character that we know. Also the art work made me want to check it out.

So with that said, let’s dive into the story. The story as you’ve read in the about section, is about the Undoing the end of the universe (DC Universe) as we know it. Since wonder woman is a goddess she didn’t age and remained as she looks. So the story is mainly about paying tribute to Bruce Wayn where she goes to the bat cave to retrieve his belt. It also felt like she was trying to collect her strength to keep moving forward seeing her encounter with Swamp thing… everything and everyone is dying around her and she trying to find the strength to hold on and keep fighting. The comic really shows how lonely being all powerful and mighty could be. It also showed Different Layers to Diana. its surprising how they could fit so much meaning into two issues.

I really enjoyed the comic more than I thought I would even the Nubia arch was a fun read. I loved how they concluded how the current DC universe have ended and I really liked seeing Darkside and The Specter as the two I guess remaining villains in the universe. I also Loved how she dealt with them. So yeah this an amazing comic to read. defiantly worth picking up.
