Review:

Where do I begin… I love Supergirl. I love the idea of her, her journey, and most of all that she’s not superman. So I was pretty excited when the show was first announced. I enjoyed the first episode and decided to keep watching it ever since. I love the relationship between Kara and Kat Grant, I loved the Alex/Kara dynamic it was pretty sweet and heart warming. My favorite episode of Season one is Falling episode 16 when Supergirl was exposed to Red Kryptonite. I also really enjoyed the main villain from season one Maxwell Lord.

In season Two we were introduced to the best character in the show Lena Luther. Sadly though… Kate Grant Left the show. I didn’t like that Alex came out as a lesbian at first… it felt forced… Lena and Kara had better chemistry. I also didn’t the the Kara and Ma-nel relationship it was very toxic. I also didn’t like that in this season Supergirl was always comparing herself or being compared to superman. I did enjoy the main villain in season two She was amazing. I liked the backstory and all. My favorite episode was the plane Episode.

In season Three were were introduced to the best villain, who almost killed supergirl… Sam was incredible her origin story, the fights the whole plot of the season was amazing.

Then there was season Four, I didn’t like that the main villain was Lex Luther. Although I enjoyed the red daughter episode. I wished it was the supergirl red daughter plot instead of it being the Superman spin off… Also I didn’t like that Lex was the main villain of the season.

As for the last season I wished that they had more of everything…

Then there is season 5 … man I have so many mixed feelings about this season. It wasn’t the best, they had a good villain but they made her lame as always. Also, the conclusion wasn’t convincing but I guess the writes did the best they could with what they have.

Overall Rate: 6/10
