Summary:
Tetris is a 2023 biographical thriller film directed by Jon S. Baird, written by Noah Pink, and starring Taron Egerton, Nikita Efremov, Sofia Lebedeva, Anthony Boyle, Toby Jones and Roger Allam. It is based on true events around the race to license and patent the video game Tetris in the late 1980s during the Cold War. In 1988, American video game salesman Henk Rogers discovers the video game Tetris. When he sets out to bring the game to the world, he enters a dangerous web of lies and corruption behind the Iron Curtain.
Review:
This is one of the most interesting movie I’ve seen this year. I’ve learned so much about the soviet union. about Licensing and copyrights. Also the movie kept me engaged and invested in the story. Of course the fact that it was based on a true story helped.
Man… The movie had all types of twists and turns. The directing was well done. I love the music and how they incorporated all the testis theme music to fit the movie events. It was incredible to recognize.
If you like to biographies you will enjoy this one.
