Claymore written by Norihiro Yagi, is coming to an end this October. The manga was first published in 2002 and has around 156 chapter. It is by far my favorite manga and the best manga I’ve ever read. Its very heartbreaking to see it come to an end.
The manga is 27 volumes. Volume 26 was released earlier this year in June and the last volume is yet to come.
If you’re familiar with the anime but haven’t read the manga I recommend and encourage you to read it.

Have you watched the anime series yet? I think the animation style was great, but the way they changed the story just ruined it for me.
Yes I’ve watched it before I’ve read the manga and true the ending was disappointing, but the manga made up for it big time 😉
I agree! I guess it’s kind of a good thing that it’s ending. I hate franchises that try to milk every drop they can while disregarding the quality.
Claymore storyline was too horror for me but I followed it due it’s art after Norihiro Yagi previous work ‘Angel Densetsu’.
I never considered claymore to be horror it is a delightful manga infact
