The power to travel through time… It can be used for the good of humanity, or just selfishly abused. While many may fantasize about obtaining such a power, it has become nothing less than reality for otherwise-normal schoolgirl Konno Makoto.

After a fated event, her life takes a turn for the extraordinary. Though she initially uses her power to literally “leap” into the past and change little things in order to make her life easier, she soon has to face the fact that changing the past can have drastic consequences. Review:

So I heard and read a lot about this movie before I watched it. I was also meaning to watch it for quite a while. I didn’t get a chance to until few months ago. So yes this review is very delayed.
The Girl Who Leapt Through Time I must say that the title itself is quite intriguing. The movie wasn’t what I had in mind. For some reason I thought she would travel to a different life time. Though the time leaps were a mater of days or hours. Though the way the story was presented was quite interesting, and I specially loved the twist near the ending of the movie. I also liked the fact that the character developed after the events that happened throughout the movie. It was pretty interesting to watch. Also, the amount of drama, comedy, thriller factors were just right. I never got bored and everything I discovered was always interesting. The movie was perfect specially the ending it left me speechless. If you haven’t watched it yet… I say it’s a must watch!!
